Described as the “Aquarium of the World” by the late ocean conservationist, Jacques-Eves Cousteau, the Sea of Cortez is a haven for a multitude of marine organisms, ranging from the simplest sponges to some of the planet’s most majestic marine animals.

Diving in La PazOrginally known as the Gulf of California, The Sea of Cortez harnesses many wonders in and around its bays, reefs, islands, seamounts, and shipwrecks making for great scuba diving in La Paz.

La Paz is nestled in the southern part of the Baja California peninsula, largely protected from the extremes of the open ocean by the crescent shape of the land that wraps around it.

We offer La Paz diving excursions in several locations including the Espiritu Santo National Park, Isla Cerralvo (AKA Jacques Cousteau Island), La Reina, and El Bajo.
