You can begin learning to become a PADI certified diver right away in the comfort of your own home or even during break times at work or college with PADI e-learning. PADI e-learning relates to the online component of a certification course which the student can work though in their own time and at their own pace. The course consists of a PADI Open Water Diver training manual in digital format, training videos, quizzes, knowledge reviews and a final examination to pre-prepare you for your practical in-water training and additional class time with us here at La Paz Divers. The majority of students complete their PADI Open Water Diver online component in a week or two depending on how much time they have free to focus on working through the material.
Once you arrive in La Paz, you will be welcomed to your comfortable accommodation in the heart of the city, walking distance to the malecon (boardwalk), shops, supermarkets, museums, bars, and restaurants. All our rooms are equipped with an en-suite shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan, smart TV screen with Netflix and other apps, and WIFI internet. We even provide you with towels and basic toiletries and will clean your room on demand.
You will have access to the use of our fully-equipped kitchen, outside dining area, garden patio and BBQ grill throughout your stay and we even transport you to training locations during your course such as the pool and boat dock.
On average, four days of practical training will be required to teach you to master the skills necessary for becoming certified as a PADI open water diver. Generally this will consist of two days confined water training in a pool followed by two days training in open water ….. in the amazing Sea of Cortez!
